Long considered the least known of the classified growths of Saint-Julien, Château Saint-Pierre has amply taken its revenge since its takeover in 1982 by Henri Martin, already owner of Château Gloria, and its redirection by the Triaud family. Growing in quality year after year, the wines of Château Saint-Pierre have become a sure bet for the appellation, often surpassing some prestigious neighbors, while charging more reasonable prices.
