VIRE-CLESSE LA VERCHERE 2020 - BRET BROTHERS

This is very young, but I was curious. Clearly southern Burgundy in style, more ripe and rich than elegant. Acidity is medium plus, verging on high, promising good storage potential. On the nose it offers ripe melon, ripe tropical fruits, vanilla, butter, citrus fruits, honey, red apple. Biggish bodmore reviews

The Viré terroir in all its nobility!
Grown on regularly-worked clay-limestone soils, the hundred-year-old vines are maintained using organic agriculture, and all the stops are pulled out to reveal the quintessence of the terroir! Mind-blowing right from the start, La Verchère floods the glass with a cascade of aromas in which white and yellow flowers, white fruits and dried fruits mingle. A Viré-Clessé that is at once lively, fresh and abundantly rounded: how can you resist such an alluring Chardonnay?

BRET BROTHERS & LA SOUFRANDIERE

Everyone knows Mâcon! But it remains to be rediscovered once it has passed into the hands of the Bret Brothers. These two enthusiasts have created their own Bret Brothers trading house, an activity that they master from start to finish, from the maintenance of the vines to the blends. The result is exceptional white wines. A domaine that is on the rise and never stops surprising us!
