ROUSSETTE DE SAVOIE 2020 - ANNE DE CHYPRE - DOMAINE DE L'IDYLLE

0,75 L White Wine / France / Savoy-Bugey / Roussette de Savoie AOP / 12,5 % vol / 100% Altesse

The sweetness and fruity aromas of this Roussette make this wine a model of generosity!!
The name of this wine evokes the legendary origin of Altesse (or Roussette). This variety was mentioned by the daughter of the king of Cyprus during her marriage to the Duke of Savoy in the 13th century. Complexity characterises the aromas of this wine’s nose of white flowers, meringue, white fruit and citrus. The palate is full-bodied, the wine is well balanced with a saline finish... Grace and breadth on the palate make it a model of generosity!!

DOMAINE DE L'IDYLLE

The Domaine de l'Idylle clings to the slopes of the alpine hillsides of the Combe de Savoie, in the park of the Bauges massif. Producer of fine Savoy wines since 1840, the Tiollier family makes its terroir grow and expresses all its subtleties. The family vineyard is cultivated with respect for nature and tradition, and all this since 1840. Today, Sylvain, Philippe and François are in charge of keeping this beautiful Domaine Savoyard alive.
