Born from the meeting of two exceptional estates, Cheval des Andes perfectly embodies the Franco-Argentinian style. This unique blend combines the know-how of Château Cheval Blanc, Premier Grand Cru Classé A of Saint-Emilion, and the altitude terroir of Terrazas de los Andes. Founded in 1999 in one of the most renowned regions of Luján de Cuyo, north of Mendoza, Cheval des Andes is spread over an exceptional 50 hectare vineyard whose Malbec vines are sometimes 80 years old. This unique terroir, cultivated at the foot of the Andes Cordillera, gives an intense, expressive and refined Grand Cru. Each grape variety is planted in a carefully selected terroir to reveal its full potential. Through the expression of five grape varieties: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot, Cheval des Andes symbolizes the ideal synergy between the art of French blending and creative innovation from the New World.
