CHATEAU DE NOUVELLES

Built on an old Gallo-Roman villa, the Château de Nouvelles was the guardian of this valley, a very frequented passage between France and Spain. It takes its name from Jacques Fournier de Novelli, pope under the name of Benoit XII in the 14th century who owned a castle here. Established on 75 hectares of vines in organic conversion, this family estate produces personalized and distinguished wines which reflect the richness of this fabulous terroir.
