LEAVE YOUR REVIEWBlind tasted wine. A real surprise compared to an Argentinian Malbec tasting. Pleasant on the palate with a good length but the pleasure comes mainly from the originality of the discovery.
Beautiful, round, convincing; my second experience with a wine from Argentina, always with the same winery so you can't go wrong, this interpretation is convincing and superlative!
Good Argentinian Malbec from mountain vineyards. Now it is powerful and deep, not without acidity. I think it is worth cellaring for at least five more years.
What a nice surprise indeed compared to the well known Argentine Malbec. We tasted it with a 7 o'clock venison... fabulous, with relatively well balanced tannins. To be tried again in 4-5 years no doubt.
Surprisingly Cabernet Franc, in a more mature than vegetal approach. The nose is not very marked by the Loire style. The palate is well balanced with fine tannins without lacking substance.
A very polished Cabernet Franc. The fruit is very uncluttered and pure. The vegetal character persists, but very tamed, integrating into the red fruit completely. For this price, you can't miss it!
Cabernet franc from the Poligonos selection, cherry red in colour. Nose of small berries and earthy notes. Juicy palate to the finish, with sharp tannins. All on notes of blackberries, raspberries, cloves. Already good to drink now but with good prospects for ageing.
