LEAVE YOUR REVIEWA great discovery for this Mexican wine and a grape variety that I am discovering for the first time. On the palate, the wine exudes a beautiful power of black fruits. Then come toasted, spicy notes. The tannins complete the structure and perfect its balance. I recommend!
Deep red, almost opaque. Big, bold, loaded with black fruit, curious suggestions of red earth and ripe pomegranate, jam, raisins, hot spices. Decent volume, the acidity is enough, robust tannins, a bit short. I don't think I've ever had a Mexican wine before, and it was a nice introduction.
What a nice surprise! We had very low expectations for this wine. Well, excellent surprise, very interesting value for money. A very straight and well-aged wine, we will buy again.
