LEAVE YOUR REVIEWExtra points for value for money. This is fresh, silky and discreetly perfumed, assertive in the mouth and and can stand up to most mid-range Pouilly Fumes. Very good and typical Loire Sauvignon Blanc with heaps of grapefruit, passion fruit and river rock textured minerality.
A very good Reuilly which is present from the opening and reveals its complexity and richness. After aeration: it surprised me two days later because the opening had given it a remarkable presence and length in the mouth. A real success that I recommend!
By taking over the family vineyard in 1973, Jean-Michel Sorbe set out to promote the Loire appellations of Quincy and Reuilly. While his children chose another path, it was the Mellot family (Joseph Mellot vineyards) who took over the estate, which today covers 14 hectares.
