Tasted yesterday with a home-made burger, it has all the appreciable qualities of a good Côtes du Rhône! In addition to a beautiful bottle, it is very well balanced and goes perfectly with a good meat. Fruit on the palate and a fine smell of orange I think. A great value for money.more reviews

Body and fruit, delicacy and depth, and harmony ruling them all.
Created by the Perrin boys, owners of one of the most celebrated Châteauneuf-du-Pape estates, Château de Beaucastel bears the seal of their expertise. Fruity, indulgent and robust, this is THE Côtes du Rhône par excellence. Silky and with irresistible freshness, Réserve proves elegant and subtle, and is bound to cause a sensation! With Perrin et Fils, a simple Côtes du Rhône is a great wine!

I have to say that this is a very good wine to drink with a red meat grill, powerful but very well balanced with a lot of fruit in the mouth.

I don't know why Mr. Parker didn't give this wine a higher rating. With all due respect to the great critic, I agree that it deserves more. It is a Côtes du Rhône of exceptional quality, especially at this market price.

The Perrin family and my family get along remarkably well . . over a glass at every meal. A well expressed opinion does not need a long paragraph.

FAMILLE PERRIN

The Maison Perrin et Fils is an iconic figure of the South Rhone Valley. The Perrin family directs the Chateau de Beaucastel vinyard with passion and is also located on some of the region's most beautiful terroirs. Jean-Pierre et François are the conductors and have also created a few years ago the remarkable Maison P&F that shines by the quality of its vintages and recognized coherence of its range.  Both those entities are implied by an almost biodynamic philosophy. The Beaucastel vineyard is organically produced, treatments are limited to its minimum and they mostly use natural compost, whereas the Maison Perrin & Fils' trading is based on the most rigorous local suppliers.
