LEAVE YOUR REVIEWPleasant red from Gascogne. Dominance of red fruits and berries with hints of black pepper. Medium tannins.
The Château de Pellehaut, built in the 18th century, faces the Pyrenees. It is located in the Ténarèze (name of a Roman road), on the edge of Bas-Armagnac, and therefore has a wide variety of terroirs. On the slopes of the Château de Pellehaut, more than 180m from altitude, the vineyard benefits from an ideal terroir and maximum sunshine. Protected by the Pyrenees mountains, the Gers also benefits from relatively low summer rainfall.
