CHARDONNAY BLANC 2018 - THE NED

0,75 L White Wine / New Zealand / Marlborough / 13 % vol / 100% Chardonnay

Screw cap
New Zealand at its best with this round, fruity and flattering Chardonnay!
The Ned in Chardonnay cuvée completes a range of single grape varieties such as the Sauvignon cuvée. This wine has aromas of citrus and white peach, complemented by ground almonds, brioche and a hint of toffee. A rich smoothness resulting from an almost complete malolactic fermentation. The palate is enveloping and reveals warm spices, a good length and presence with a fine acid tension on the finish.

THE NED

Located at the northern tip of New Zealand's South Island, "The Ned" vineyard sits in one of the country's most interesting wine regions: the Marlborough region. The estate takes its name from one of the highest peaks on the Island, and is masterfully run by its owner, Brent Marris, a native of the region. Located on the southern slope of the Waihopai Valley, the 268ha of the vineyard is crossed by the Waihopai River which not only provides a border, but which is also the origin of the pebbles that make up the entire terroir of the vineyard. "The Ned" is an area that represents New Zealand wonderfully well, where we can perceive in its achievements all the energy and expression of all the land of the country with the long white cloud.
