LEAVE YOUR REVIEWVery nice wine, typical Pomerol features but not too complex. It doesn’t pretend to be and that’s OK. It did not hold well the day after, It’s a wine that needs drinking on the day
Benefiting from terroirs of equal quality as its illustrious neighbours (Eglise-Clinet, Pétrus and La Croix de Gay), Château Rouget has witnessed the quality of its wine improve considerably since the Labruyère family acquired it in 1992. The estate now hovers around the top of the Pomerol appellation while still working with a very reasonable pricing structure. Undoubtedly one of the finest deals from this appellation!
