A safe bet in Saint-Julien: beautiful garnet color, powerful and racy wine, woody and spicy aromas, ample mouthfeel and long finish, to be decanted one hour before serving! more reviews

"The juicy freshness makes this a lively and medium-bodied St.-Julien. Tobacco leaf and slightly sappy character at the finish." - James Suckling -
Château Lalande has a pretty garnet red colour. On the nose, this wine exudes woody, cocoa and spicy notes, with aromas of ripe red fruits in the background. On the palate, it is ample and fresh, the finish is long. Its body and finesse allow it to go perfectly with a steak, wild boar fillet, rack of lamb and fairly spicy cheeses.

CHATEAU LALANDE

Château Lalande has been owned by the Meffre family for almost 60 years. Formerly part of Château Lagrange, the terroir of this cru was detached and ceded to its current owner in 1964. Its vineyard in one piece is located on a gravelly plateau. The wines produced have great potential.
