LEAVE YOUR REVIEWPart of the excellent Xavier Vignon series that uses grapes from across the Rhone. This is well balanced, complex and goes well with a variety of meats and cheeses.
Light and fruity red from Cotes du Rhone. Rather complex and well-balanced.Aroma of black fruits. Spicy with long lasting after-taste.
A winemaker whose reputation is well established, with all types of prices and always pleasure in tasting! A nose at the same time on red fruits in brandy, bitter chocolate, thyme. On the palate it is delicious with good acidity and supple tannins.
A very good wine with fine aromas on the palate. Very appreciable. Good quality wine. Very highly recommend to accompany with good meat and cheese.
This is the first time I have given a score of 19, this Xavier Vignon is magnificent all round, it is as fruity as you could wish for, with aromas of wild strawberries and blackcurrants, it is light but just right, the tannins are very fine, and the finish very pleasant.
All my senses were awakened when I tasted this exceptional organic Côtes du Rhône! From the nose to the mouth, it is a slow waltz of aromas that intoxicate us... black fruits, slightly peppery, this subtle blend is once again a real success for Xavier Vignon!
Xavier Vignon is one of the most renowned oenologists in the Rhone wine region. He has worked as a consultant to more than 200 wineries in the Rhone Valley and has gained a worldwide reputation for his expertise and collaboration on the best wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. He started his own production in 2002, and the winery is now known for wines of exceptional quality and Xavier Vignon's own style of wine, both of which make him a successful winemaker. Elegant and well-balanced wines that beautifully reflect the terroir, because terroir and minerality are the philosophy of his work and not only in wine production, as he also runs an oenological institute, where he explores these aspects. His wines obtain the highest scores in the Robert Parker Guide.
