SANTENAY 1ER CRU - GRAND CLOS ROUSSEAU 2017 - DOMAINE ROUX PERE ET FILS

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Burgundy / Santenay Premier Cru AOC / 13 % vol / 100% Pinot noir

A cuvée with a solid structure, built around tannins well integrated into the fruit.
The 7.92 hectares of Grand Clos Rousseau represent half of the surface of Clos Rousseau. This vintage presents a very ripe nose of the beautiful Climats harvested at maturity full of black fruits and spices. The deep and full mouthfeel suggests a very nice ageing potential. Once again, Domaine Roux Père & Fils lives up to our expectations, and delights our taste buds in tasting!

DOMAINE ROUX PÈRE ET FILS

Created in 1855, this Burgundian domaine which combines property and trading is currently managed by the fourth generation. Sébastien and Matthieu Roux carry on the family tradition and manage 65 hectares of the vineyard spread over 13 villages of the Côte d'Or, Côtes de Nuits and the Côte Chalonnaise. The Roux family played a big role in the recognition of Saint-Aubin and the worldwide fame of this appellation owes it a lot!
