BEAUNE MONTEE ROUGE 2017 - DOMAINE ROUX PERE ET FILS

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Burgundy / Beaune AOC / 13 % vol / 100% Pinot noir

An aromatically complex and flattering cuvée!
The vines of the family domain Roux extend to this day over 65 hectares of the Côte de Beaune, Côte de Nuits and Côte Chalonnaise. Montée Rouge owes its name to the reddish hue of its red clay soil. Richness and concentration reign supreme throughout the tasting, giving way to extraordinary length on the finish. The tannins, on the other hand, promise a bright future for this exceptional cuvée signed by a renowned house!

DOMAINE ROUX PÈRE ET FILS

Created in 1855, this Burgundian domaine which combines property and trading is currently managed by the fourth generation. Sébastien and Matthieu Roux carry on the family tradition and manage 65 hectares of the vineyard spread over 13 villages of the Côte d'Or, Côtes de Nuits and the Côte Chalonnaise. The Roux family played a big role in the recognition of Saint-Aubin and the worldwide fame of this appellation owes it a lot!
