ARBIN MONDEUSE - LE COTEAU D'ALBERT 2019 - DOMAINE DE L'IDYLLE

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Savoy-Bugey / Savoie AOC / 12 % vol

"Everything in this Mondeuse reminds me of the Arbin cru!" Hachette Guide
Located in Cruet, in the Bauges mountains, this 18-hectare domaine, managed by the Tiollier family since 1840, has created a range with varying degrees of success. Sylvain Tiollier, an oenologist, is now head of the family business. These steep hills that overlook the southern flank of the Combe de Savoie, in a majestic setting facing the Alps, are exceptionally exposed. The soil of the vineyards is composed of clay-limestone scree. It is reputed to be one of the best Savoy terroirs and especially successful in the Mondeuse varietal. Arbin Mondeuse from the Idylle domaine is a great success. The notes of red fruits wrapped in spices linger on the palate supported by elegant and delicious tannins. A true delicacy!

DOMAINE DE L'IDYLLE

The Domaine de l'Idylle clings to the slopes of the alpine hillsides of the Combe de Savoie, in the park of the Bauges massif. Producer of fine Savoy wines since 1840, the Tiollier family makes its terroir grow and expresses all its subtleties. The family vineyard is cultivated with respect for nature and tradition, and all this since 1840. Today, Sylvain, Philippe and François are in charge of keeping this beautiful Domaine Savoyard alive.
