LEAVE YOUR REVIEWI keep on ordering it! Fruity sensations with a majority of raspberries, strawberries and balsamic notes. It is a wine of character but very well balanced.
A great Spanish wine. It's my favorite with an ultra competitive price. It's a secret to keep jealously and boxes must be put in the cellar immediately.
Intense ruby red in the glass. Aromas with notes of wild berries and cinnamon. Lush, round and fruity on the palate with soft tannins and medium acidity. Very balanced finish, more Reserva than Crianza.
In the year 1890, 5 Basque winegrowers, born in Rioja, in the north of Spain, founded in Haro, on July 10, the 'Sociedad Vinícola de la Rioja Alta'. From the start, they had the ambition to produce elite wines and decided at the end of the 19th century to recruit a French oenologist: Alfonso Vigier. At the time, only the most prestigious estates could recruit such wine experts. If for decades, the oak barrels of the property were made on site, they ceased this activity for several years and then resumed it in 2003. Today the cooperage belongs to the estate and the barrels are once again made to measure. to the estate to guarantee elite toast and woodiness. The result is grandiose and wine lovers all over the world dream of being able to buy the wines of "La Rioja Alta"! The estate has largely contributed to the worldwide reputation of the Rioja vineyard, which today shines beyond borders for the quality of its wines. The famous specialist magazine Decanter: “The philosophy of La Rioja Alta has always been to strive for perfection through both traditional and innovative processes. Offering a wide variety of unique, high quality wines with personality and charm, the Rioja Alta wine range showcases the best that Spain has to offer."
