LEAVE YOUR REVIEWIn my opinion, this wine is a great choice for those who enjoy full-bodied red wines. The tannins are strong but not overpowering, and the black-currant flavor is rich and satisfying. I would recommend pairing it with a hearty meal such as steak or roasted lamb.
Great example of a left bank Bourdeaux for the price. Fresh red fruit, eucallyptus and pencil shaving are quite evident. I recommend decanting it for at least 1 hour for a better experience.
A very well balanced wine with great aromatic power.
It reveals a good length in the mouth, perfect with a leg of lamb. A wine for pleasure.
Ruby colour, aromas of plum, chocolate and liquorice. Good balance and length. Excellent value for money. It was drunk with a nice grilled meat.
We loved this wine, opened during a festive family meal. We tasted it with a low temperature beef fillet, the match was perfect.
Good medoc combines well red fruits skin and spices, reveals medium body with well-balanced tannins and little acidity perfect combination with bourguignon-style meat
Good medoc, ripe red fruit, medium body, polished tannins, cocoa and liquorice. Good acidity. Very easy to drink. Very good value for Bordeaux.
Very pretty colour and expressive nose of black fruits, this Château Fleur la Motte expresses itself on an open and very accessible vintage. Wine lovers will be delighted.
Excellent Bordeaux. Brilliant colour on the nose very intense with notes of pepper and spices. Warm and tannic on the palate with notes of leather and clove.
Discreet burgundy medoc aoc appellation, quite soft and discreetly persistent. On the nose black fruits, on the palate blackberry immediately enters, then wood and on the finish vanilla and spices. Good but not exceptional, however pleasant
A real pleasure at a very affordable price. The 2018 vintage is sublime, above the 2015 which I had already enjoyed. Good finish, good length
Rather firm on the palate for a Medoc, but very fruity. A bright, colourful wine that goes very well with meat dishes.
Perfect - fruity on the nose (of cherry) and on the palate of ripe wild berries, vanilla aroma, dark chocolate, with perfectly rounded tannins and a long velvety finish - to dry aged tomahawk with potatoes and pumpkin. Decant one hour before drinking.
Excellent quality to price ratio for this wine, which deserves its ranking because of its delight on the palate. Don't forget to aerate it and check the temperature before serving. This wine deserves every consideration.
A very decent Medoc, an excellent 2018 vintage. Notes of coffee and red fruit, with a long finish on the palate. I recommend this
Medoc.
Excellent value for money, especially with the special offer. This wine develops aromas of vanilla and undergrowth; on the palate it is rich, woody and velvety.
A fine wine with no exaggerated aromas.
An excellent wine, with very good value for money. On the nose, it already takes you on a journey. On the palate, the tannins are supple enough to be appreciated by most. Delightful with rare meat.
A beautifully dense wine with notes of red and black fruit. A typical Medoc. Can wait a few more years to express itself to the full.
What can I say, I order it and I want more! A Cru Bourgeois Supérieur that deserves all the praise for its elegance, power and expression.
Very balanced and gourmet! And excellent quality to price ratio for this 2018 vintage.
The nose combines aromas of red fruit and vanilla. I'll have another!
Classified Cru Bourgeois in 1932, Château Fleur La Mothe is located in the town of Saint Yzans du Médoc. Its various plots are on hills called “Croupes de Graves”; Moreover, Mothe in Médoc dialect means "bute". This alchemy of nature mixed with the work of men makes it possible to obtain wines of great complexity. Most of the plots see the river, which ensures good thermal regulation and protects the vineyard in particular from spring frosts. Rumps with more or less steep slopes favor runoff; thus the infiltration water does not stagnate on the surface because it percolates through layers of Graves. This alchemy of nature mixed with the work of men makes it possible to obtain wines of great complexity.
