Progress is constant in this area and this 2017 vintage once again proves the seriousness of the area. The wine is rich, carried by beautiful tannins and going on a persistent finish. Excellent value for money for this Haut-Médoc.more reviews

A complete bourgeois cru that develops its full potential!
Cha?teau du Cartillon lies in Lamarque, equidistant from the wines of Margaux and Saint-Julien. In the heart of the Haut-Médoc appellation, the 69-hectare property is adjacent to three prestigious representatives of the Moulis appellation: Cha?teaux Poujeaux, Maucaillou and Chasse Spleen. The quality of the terroir, of ancient fame, made Cha?teau du Cartillon well known since the 19th century. In 1850, the domaine was referenced in the first edition of the Féret Guide. Very full, with as much intensity in the bouquet as in the robe or the structure, it is a true gourmet wine with a beautiful fruity roundness and real strength. A beautiful harmonious and persistent bottle. Outstanding for this Bourgeois Cru that progresses from year to year!
