LEAVE YOUR REVIEWA nice little Chilean wine in the line of Chilean wines. It is quite fleshy with silky tannins. To see if it can still improve as it gets older. Good value for money.
First time buyer. At first its screw cap put a prejudice in front of me. After tasting it I realised that I was in front of a great wine. I like Chilean wines and especially this variety. Highly recommended. Very good value for money.
Viña Santa Rita was founded in 1880 by Don Domingo Fernández Concha, businessman and public figure of the time. Don Domingo imported French grape varieties from the rich soils of the Maipo Valley, with specialized equipment and a team of French winemakers. This brought techniques hitherto unknown to Chile, changing the way wines were made in the country and bringing spectacular results. In 1980 the company became part of the Claro group, and the new property took a leap forward in quality, bringing numerous awards and accolades over the years.
