This Cahors offers us intense fruity notes (blackcurrant, blackberry) and spices, aromas that are found in the mouth, supported by a dense and concentrated structure. The tannins are supple but well present: the ageing potential is important. Really very good!more reviews

This is a great vintage for red Cahors wine and it has just come of age. Superb value for money!
It has a dark garnet red colour, good intensity and offers plenty of concentration on the nose. It exudes really ripe red fruits and gentle notes of spice at first and then followed by notes of woodland. On the palate, the balance between the various elements is outstanding. We find good body with pleasant astringency. It will pair excellently with any rich gourmet dishes, such as stews, duck breast and terrines but also with game and cheese.
