It's nicely concentrated! Smooth and delicate, this mellow Bordeaux is fresh, with aromas of candied fruit and a slight acidity, which makes it well balanced. Top for the aperitif!more reviews

Known for its dry white wines, this Bordeaux terroir has surprised us with a sweet wine that has just the right balance between sweetness and liveliness.
Bought in 1954 by Henri Ducourt, the estate is located at the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, benefiting from its proximity to the river and a good sunny exposure. Château La Hargue is a sweet white Bordeaux with a shimmering pale gold colour. The nose gives us a delicate mix of exotic fruits, citrus and a hint of vanilla. The fine, elegant palate is perfectly balanced between lightness and fruit flavours. Perfect as an aperitif, yet it will also pair with blue cheeses and fruit desserts.

Great discovery that we love this sweet demi-sec! I was afraid that it would be too sweet, but it is not the case. It is balanced and fruity, perfect as an aperitif, I recommend (and reorder) given the exceptional value for money!

Very pleasant a great discovery!! I wanted to change my habits I don't regret!! As an aperitif or for a meal and even better with fish.

FAMILLE DUCOURT

By becoming the owner of the Château des Combes, the Ducourt family settled in 1858 in the hamlet of Hourc, commune of Ladaux, a small rural village in Entre-Deux-Mers to the south-east of Bordeaux. Pierre Ducourt, then his children and grandchildren then worked on the few hectares of vines on the property. The arrival of their grandfather, Henri Ducourt, on the estate marks a turning point for the company. With the help of three of his children, he will strongly boost his activity and make this family vineyard one of the largest wine-growing units in Bordeaux (480 hectares, 14 châteaux in 6 different AOCs).
