LEAVE YOUR REVIEWIt is a Bordeaux classic, shared with friends, it is a wine of character. On the palate, it is well balanced, it will have to be forgotten for a few years in the cellar! Bravo!
A very pleasant wine both as an aperitif and during the meal. Round and fruity, slightly rich on the palate, the colour is purple and the nose is explosive. A very good value for money!
A good generic Bordeaux at a pleasant price that has potential for ageing, but can now be enjoyed with a meal in sauce or grilled meat. It is fleshy with a good tannic structure on the palate, making a powerful and woody wine.
A simple and fleshy Bordeaux wine. It goes well with meats and cheeses. However, it lacks a bit of body and complexity. The quality/price ratio remains correct.
Very good wine from Entre-deux-Mers. Very fruity at the start of the palate, it tends to draw on the almond later. We are won over by this unpretentious great Bordeaux wine.
Another great Vinatis discovery for this Bordeaux. Beautiful garnet color, intense nose of red fruits and roasted nuts. On the palate, a round and well-structured wine based on present but delicate tannins. I can't wait to "rediscover" it after a few years in the cellar.
Nice little wine. Good bouquet, nice flavours on the palate and in the aftertaste. For the price it is certainly a nice pick. Pleasant and unpretentious.
This Château Briot 2016 has righteously won a golden medal in the competition of Bordeaux in 2018. Red fruit aromas and slightly toasted notes, these aromas are reflected in a dense and round palette with smooth tannins.
Ducourt family owns dozen of castles including this domaine in Entre-deux-Mers that covers 56 hectares. A surprising intensity for this 2016 vintage with a great length and high tannins on the palate. Can be kept for more than ten years without a problem.
Well balanced with ripe fruit aromas due to a sunny vintage. This Bordeaux preserves a slight acidity in the finish and high but smooth tannins. It offers a great value for money, pleasantly surprised!
By becoming the owner of the Château des Combes, the Ducourt family settled in 1858 in the hamlet of Hourc, commune of Ladaux, a small rural village in Entre-Deux-Mers to the south-east of Bordeaux. Pierre Ducourt, then his children and grandchildren then worked on the few hectares of vines on the property. The arrival of their grandfather, Henri Ducourt, on the estate marks a turning point for the company. With the help of three of his children, he will strongly boost his activity and make this family vineyard one of the largest wine-growing units in Bordeaux (480 hectares, 14 châteaux in 6 different AOCs).
