A grape that is unusual for me, País, but with nice history in Chile. The wine has to be drunk with lower temperature than is usual for red wines in order to show its best!more reviews

"It shows very good freshness and balance as well as the wild character of the place." Robert Parker
Bouchon is a family estate located in the Maule valley. The wild vines come from a very old granite soil rich in minerals. The grapes are harvested by hand. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts, without additives, clarification and filtration. A very pure expression of the Pais grape variety. On the nose, red fruits, cherries, wild strawberries and floral notes. Very fresh and balanced on the palate with a long and rustic finish. Best served slightly chilled to 14-15 degrees with barbecues.

BOUCHON

The wines of the Bouchon family originated at the end of the 19th century when the young winemaker Emile Bouchon left Bordeaux, France, for Chile. Today, Julio Bouchon and his children carry on their 4th generation family wine-making tradition in the Maule Valley. With in-depth research into the soil and innovative winemaking, Bouchon preserves the historic character of the Maule Valley with distinctive terroir wines.
