A nice surprise for this unusual grape variety. The wine reveals an aromatic type of basket of red fruits, with great drinkability, and a very pleasant freshness.more reviews

"It has red fruit and flowers, some grainy tannins and is quite true to the variety, with that rustic touch. Bravo!" Robert Parker
Bouchon is a family estate located in the Maule valley. The vines come from a very old granite soil rich in minerals. The grapes are harvested by hand. This cuvée has been aged in concrete in order to preserve the fruitiness and freshness of the wine. On the nose, it reveals very aromatic with aromas of red fruits, strawberries and cherries with a touch of dried herbs. Very juicy, fresh and light on the palate with silky tannins. It goes wonderfully with a grilled tuna steak.

BOUCHON

The wines of the Bouchon family originated at the end of the 19th century when the young winemaker Emile Bouchon left Bordeaux, France, for Chile. Today, Julio Bouchon and his children carry on their 4th generation family wine-making tradition in the Maule Valley. With in-depth research into the soil and innovative winemaking, Bouchon preserves the historic character of the Maule Valley with distinctive terroir wines.
