PERNAND VERGELESSES 1ER CRU EN CARADEUX 2019 - DOMAINE POISOT

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Burgundy / Pernand-Vergelesses Premier Cru AOC / 13,5 % vol / 100% Pinot noir

"A medium-bodied, bright and lively wine built around succulent acids and powdery tannins." Robert Parker
Red fruits and floral accents are immediately noticeable on the nose of this wine with an intense ruby color before evolving into undergrowth and spices. On the palate, the solid tannins are smoothed by a richness and an acidity which ensure balance and long maturity to this bottle. A full-bodied, solid wine that will pair wonderfully with a cheese platter and relatively strong meats such as veal, lamb or game birds.

DOMAINE POISOT PERE ET FILS

The Poisot Père et Fils estate is the result of a long history of parentage. Coming from the same family as Louis Latour, the property was operated for a long time by renting or sharecropping before being taken over in 1986 by Maurice Poisot. Concerned about maintaining the wine heritage and the quality of the grapes, the Poisot family expresses the complex nuances of the terroir through wines worthy of the best of Burgundy.
