CÔTE RÔTIE - CHAMPON'S 2019 - DOMAINE STEPHANE PICHAT

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Rhone / Côte-Rôtie AOC / 14,5 % vol

'A ripe, fleshy Cote Rotie.... It shows ample length and vitality on the finish.' Joe Czerwinski, The Wine Advocate
Tender, wild and smooth, Champon's by Stéphane Pichat is a pretty marvel that enthusiasts are well acquainted with... It exhibits an intense nose of plum enveloped in coffee aromas that are consolidated on the palate amidst peppery notes. A characterful Côte-Rôtie that will still have a lot to say four or five years from now! Take advantage before it's too late!

DOMAINE STÉPHANE PICHAT

Domaine Pichat has 4 hectares of vines in several sectors such as Champon, Cognet, Plomb, Fongeant, Gerine, Grandes Places or La Caille for Condrieu. The work is different on each of the plots. The only goal is to produce the healthiest and most ripe grapes possible. All the work in the vines and the treatments carried out are reasoned: no pesticides or insecticides, and the vast majority of phytosanitary products are certified Organic Agriculture. In 2010 to certify these efforts, the estate decided to adopt the Terra Vitis label, a label for sustainable management.
