LEAVE YOUR REVIEWThe nose is fine, elegant and floral (violet). On the palate there is a beautiful richness, notes of blackberry, blackcurrant. The tannins are present but balanced thanks to a marked acidity. I advise to open it an hour before tasting, it will only be better!
Very good Bordeaux, not too tannic with aromas of very fine oak barrels. Excellent value for money, I immediately recommend a bottle to share this time.
Here is a Bordeaux which from year to year borders on excellence given its price. Personally, I have never found better in this price range. Buying with your eyes closed you cannot be disappointed.
A Bordeaux that will please with a refined dinner, a great success for the guests. Elegant wine, well balanced oak. I keep a few bottles in the cellar to age them and to see their evolution. Very good value for money.
Nice balance, joyfully woody, pleasantly fruity, you can smell vanilla. Very good wine with ageing potential! Value for money, excellent! Treat yourself!
Located in Vérac, a small village north-east of Bordeaux, Château Fleur Haut-Gaussens has been defending the values of know-how for 3 generations. Proud of its vineyard, the Lhuillier family produces under the Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations. Merlot Rouge, Cabernet-Franc and Cabernet-Sauvignon, the vines are managed in sustainable agriculture with individual monitoring for each of the plots. Exceptional soils, where the delicately vinified grape varieties express all the power of the terroir. Between tradition and modernism, this work carried out by a passionate and resourceful team, offers elegant wines based on the power of tannins. Quality, consistency: from vintage to vintage, the cuvées write their own history and attract rewards. A little out of the ordinary, the estate's wines are among the last Bordeaux Supérieurs to be presented as wines for ageing, such as Grands Crus.
