LEAVE YOUR REVIEWA red blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape and an interesting discovery, with 65% Grenache, besides Mourvédre, Syrah and Cinsault. Light red colour on the glass. The nose involving red fruits, some minerality and spices, while in the mouth was quite elegant, with soft tannins and a nice ending.
Guilty pleasure. This is a wine to easy to like. And then when you taste it is a reminder of a time that you start to like red wine. And even when you don't wanna admit you think nice to drink you again.
This Vieux Clocher leaves tingling harmonious notes of red fruits and candy. Fresh on the attack, rich and round, I recommend to all lovers of a bouquet of fruit on the palate.
This wine is a delight in the mouth, with its powerful aromas of small ripe fruits, to be drunk with a good red meat or a dish in sauce, it is easy to drink and has a great balance.
Excellent wine from ARNOUX & FILS, I've been tasting their VIEUX CLOCHER for some time now, a fruity wine with a well-controlled power, it's easy to drink and has a real sweetness in the mouth, the finish is excellent with a good length, to be drunk on all occasions as an aperitif or with a meal
In spite of this powerful body, it shows a huge freshness in the mouth, with its floral and fresh berry aromas, it's easy to drink and has a great finesse! I like it very much!
We vinified until 1936, the wines coming only from our vineyard spanning 24 hectares. But from that date, faced with an increasingly important demand, and in front of the growing reputation of our wines, we had to buy the vintage in addition to our production. This allowed us to be able to satisfy our customers who were looking for a complete range of wines from the Rhône Valley. It was Aimé Arnoux who spurred this new impetus. Since then, the House has been managed successively by his two sons: Jean-Marie and Régis. Today, the dynasty continues, headed by Marc and Jean-François, sons of Jean-Marie, both heirs to family know-how. "Since 1717, the culture of the vine has been perpetuated in our family, this tradition, this heritage have become a passion. Even today, we vinify our Crus with the greatest respect for ancestral traditions, in order to be able to offer and restore to you. all the authentic flavors of our region." - Marc and Jean François Arnoux -
