ROUSSETTE MARESTEL 2018 - LES TOURELLES - CHÂTEAU DE LA MAR

0,75 L White Wine / France / Savoy-Bugey / Roussette de Savoie AOC / 13 % vol / 100% Altesse

A cuvée that has become a standard-setter, found in the finest establishments in the two Savoie regions. A great buy par excellence!
Here we are in the presence of one of the winery's iconic and unmissable cuvées. A warm, ample and fat palate lengthened with fresh and precise minerality, this cuvée will combine perfectly with fish or white meat, not to forget cheese...from Savoy of course. Superb laying-down potential in this very great Savoy wine.

CHÂTEAU DE LA MAR

The Château de la Mar is located in the heart of the Marestel hillside in Savoy in the town of Jongieux. This hillside is nestled in the slopes of Mount Charvaz, its terraces would be the steepest in the wine world according to Robert Parker. Located between Lac du Bourget on one side and the Rhône on the other, Château de la Mar enjoys a full western exposure and a micro climate brought to it by the proximity of the river. The 7 hectares of vines of the castle are at the heart of the appellation and receive an ideal and privileged sunshine which makes that here the Highness is sublime. The partially grassed vines are managed in sustainable agriculture. Each plot is harvested and pulled by hand, which guarantees optimal sanitary conditions during the harvest.
