Wine on the fruit, tannic but quite dry. Difficult association with dishes which must suddenly be quite strong in taste and therefore not an everyday wine.more reviews

"Lots of red fruit leads us to a bright, fleshy and rounded palate that has a smooth and dense feel! " J. Suckling
The notes of black cherries and plums mingle harmoniously with sweet spicy aromas. A palate that flirts between caressing and voluptuousness, silky tannins emphasizing the ageing in concrete tanks (no barrel ageing). A finish that lives up to its appellation: long, suave and stylish. This is a wine acclaimed by critics to be discovered immediately.

Good value for money, elegant, beautiful colour quite round in the mouth. For a 2018 the aromas are delicate. I recommend it for a summer meal.

Strong wine in attack but not very long on the palate. Fruity, it seems to me perfect, a little fresh, to accompany a good summer meal. Do not hesitate in this period.

A marvel of Châteauneuf-du-Pape at a very low price for our greatest pleasure! It is a wine full of finesse which nevertheless knows how to demonstrate a beautiful tone and great power... No doubt, it is a great success, at the height of its appellation!

CELLIER DES PRINCES

The Cellier des Princes takes its name from the prestigious history of the Princes of Orange. One of them, William I, known as "le Taciturne", because of his silent character, illustrates the character of the Cellier des Princes' winegrowers. Men for whom action counts more than words, winegrowers who have written the history of the Cellier des Princes. In 1925, a group of winegrowers convinced by the values of solidarity and mutual aid joined forces. Eleven years later, these visionary winegrowers participated in the construction of the first appellation in France: Châteauneuf-du-Pape. In the 1960s, the second generation of Cellier des Princes winegrowers anticipated the leisure society and the development of wine tourism by setting up the Cellier des Princes tasting cellar on the edge of the RN7. As a loyal partner of the finest Rhone and Burgundy wine merchants who have historically sold Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the Cellier des Princes has been selling them Châteauneuf-du-Pape from its vineyard for decades. The exceptional quality of the terroirs of the Cellier des Princes gives the wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but also of Côtes-du-Rhône , rare qualities which are appreciated at amounts well above the market price. The Cellier des Princes winegrowers, united as they were in the beginning, are proud to have their wines appreciated on the five continents and to be able to transmit their values of conviviality and excellence.
