CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE - CUVÉE IMPÉRIALE 2019 - RAYMOND USSEGLIO

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Rhone / Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC / 15 % vol

AB (organic wine)
A brilliant Châteauneuf du Pape by a master of hand! Fall for this wonder ...
This Imperial wine is cut to become a very great wine from the southern Rhône Valley. To absolutely keep in the cellar for a few years, we must be patient for its strength and tannins to blend perfectly with a delicate creaminess. The aromas will become even more profound! Another work of craftsmanship by Raymond Usseglio. Vintage after vintage the ratings and reviews of the great names of the wine world make it a must-have northern Rhône Domaine. The day you enjoy this Châteauneuf du Pape, you will thank us ...

RAYMOND USSEGLIO

The estate was created by Francis USSEGLIO who came from Italy in 1931 and settled in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and started to produce his own wine in 1948. In 1963 Raymond took over and with his wife Danielle they created and expanded the estate which was to bear the name of DOMAINE USSEGLIO RAYMOND. Since 1999, it is now the son's turn to cultivate the 24 hectares of the estate. Like the "climats" in Burgundy, the different plots offer a mosaic of different terroirs and exposures. The working principles are both simple and complex. In order to preserve and respect the life and balance of the terroirs and vines, the work is carried out using biodynamic methods, which require a great deal of observation and specific care.
