LEAVE YOUR REVIEWEntry-level Cahors wines are generally too powerful and tannic. Nothing of the sort with the Pourpre, which highlights the Malbec grape and its beautiful structure with a taste of plum and spices. A pleasure without ruining yourself.
A very affordable cuvée from Château Lagrezette and yet this wine is very well made, very pleasant. The balance is excellent, here there is no excess of bitterness or acidity as is too often found in these inexpensive Cahors wines. A great success.
Interesting Malbec from Cahors. Blackberry, wild strawberries, hints of menthol and licorice. Good acidity, medium body with silky!!! tannins and pleasant finish. Nice expression of Malbec. Good pairing with cheese platter.
A very nice Cahors at low price with a nice colour and very silky texture. Aromatic, it will be the perfect ally for dinner aperitifs with friends.
I'm a fan of the Malbec but this one in particular. It has such a pleasant 'appetizer' with hints of cherry (this is subjective) which explode on the palate. So good that I recommend it!
1st 100% Malbec, result: 100% success. The wine is certainly still young, but offers a glimpse of good prospects in the years to come. The red fruit is very present, the tannins sweet as I like them. In short again an excellent quality/price ratio for this Vinatis discovery.
Château Lagrézette is a true reference in the South-West. Owner Alain Dominique Perrin, passionate about beauty and exceptional products, bought the property in the 1980s. The estate covers 90 hectares of vines, of which Malbec, the emblematic Cahors grape, represents the majority. The vineyard is made up of three distinct terroirs which gives a great diversity of cuvées. Since 1988 the estate has been consulted by the famous oenologist Michel Rolland. The estate produces powerful, generous, elegant and refined wines, the quality of which is unanimously recognized in France but also abroad.
