LEAVE YOUR REVIEWBut what a fruit bomb! This Chiroubles is as I like it: Easygoing, fragrant and very slightly acidic! In short, it is my quintessential little wine for friends!
Very pleasant on the palate, with subtle floral notes, this wine goes particularly well with poultry: capon, duck, quail... Do not hesitate also, as I did, to taste it on a good cheese platter.
This Chiroubles is too young at the moment: we have to wait a year. In the meantime, open the bottle 1 hour before tasting.
In 1929, at the dawn of the Great Depression, a handful of Beaujolais winegrowers decided to counter the crisis by joining forces. Together, they created the Cave des Vignerons de Bel Air. In 2008, the merger with the Cave de Chiroubles allowed them to expand their production site to 700 hectares, spread across the 10 Beaujolais Crus.
