LA CRAU 2018 - DOMAINE DU VIEUX TELEGRAPHE

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Rhone / Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC / 14,5 % vol

"It is fresh, vibrant and spicy (...) Full-bodied and silky (...) Superbly rich!" R. Parker
A true flagship of the Brunier vineyards, the Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe protects its wines from the assaults of excessive modernity proposing a classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape with masterful efficiency. This can be seen in its deep ruby colour and its powerful aromas of blackberry and cherry combined with floral and spicy notes. Silky on the palate, it offers fresh acidity for a delicate balance. A beautiful, classic and elegant Châteauneuf-du-Pape red!

VIEUX TELEGRAPHE

The Domaine Vieux Telegraphe, the heart of the Brunier vineyards, is a great name in the Rhône valley. Only 4 wines are produced there: Le Vieux Télégraphe red and white, from the oldest vineyards and the most complex cuvées, and Le Télégramme red and white, representing the 2nd wines of Vignobles Brunier in AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape. For more than a century, the Brunier family has produced red and white Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines here, strongly influenced by their terroir, a bulwark behind which they can protect their vintages from the onslaught of extreme modernity.
