Herr Tesch routinely puts out trusty Nahe Rieslings, usually with a robust body, velvet texture, steel acidity and generous aromas, sometimes with precocious petrol notes. This is one of his mid-range labels and no exception to the above.more reviews

"This St. Remigiusberg is again one of the best Nahe Rieslings and can compete with all the Grosses Gewächs!" - ROBERT PARKER
Behind its beautiful pale yellow colour is a superb Riesling by the Tesch Maison! You will melt with pleasure thanks to its fruity aromas of green apple, quince and citrus fruits, but also thanks to its intensely floral flavours. This is a characterful Riesling with a wonderful mineral structure, finely spiced, with a very long and delightful finish!

With Saint Remigiusberg 2018, we come close to perfection: a masterful Riesling, a German masterpiece, lively, straightforward, complex and unabashed. A wonder praised by the press and still accessible, why deny it?

TESCH

When Martin Tesch took over the parental cellar in 1997, he immediately began to reorient it completely: The vineyard area was reduced to 19 hectares in order to cultivate only the best sites - and almost exclusively with Riesling. Since then, no more chemical additives have been used in the vineyard and no artificial improvement of the wine cellar has been made. So at Tesch Winery you will only find fully fermented and natural wines that clearly reflect the character of the sites. The five sites could hardly be more different: Besides their orientation and the inclination of the slopes, their soil is extremely diverse, from silty loess interspersed with shell limestone, to clayey soil and weathered soil of red sandstone, passing through the soil. volcanic, everything is represented there. No wonder Martin Tesch was named Winemaker of the Year 2012 by the FAZ, in addition to countless awards.
