Under the spell of this pure nectar! It's more natural than its Cote de Py, but with more finesse and pomp. I personally love it. Very generous. To be opened 1 hour before tasting, or decanted quickly.more reviews

Quite simply splendid. Enjoy it at least once in your life!
A favourite during the tasting! On the nose and the palate, there's a real crispness! Oodles of small black fruits complement a magnificent aromatic palate that's full of spice and vanilla notes. But the finish is no less remarkable, with jammy, stewed fruit flavours coming to the fore just for our pleasure! Here's a Morgon that's got a great future ahead of it! Make no mistake, for those lacking patience it's a huge treat now.

A great Morgon, very fruity, very light but with a beautiful body. Without a doubt one to keep, but one that can be enjoyed now. One finds all the finesse of a Morgon

The perfect example of the potential pleasure that Beaujolais can provide! A beauty that is a pleasure to open today but which brings the excitement of opening it in the next 5-6 years! Already a fan of Jean Foillard's wines, this one is one of the cru that gives me the shivers...

JEAN FOILLARD

In 1981, he joined the family estate, and made every effort to make his wines naturally good wines. From 1985, he developed his know-how with the famous Marcel Lapierre and began to forge his style by enhancing his terroir. He will also get closer to Yvon Métras, Guy Breton, Jean-Paul Thevenet in Beaujolais and Les Valette in Burgundy. They will then form a group of free and independent winegrowers who are not afraid to break the codes. Jean Foillard has 8 hectares of land on clay-limestone soils. By using a low temperature carbonic maceration, it emerges from it wines rich with fruit aromas, and velvety texture. We invite you to discover its Morgon on which it has built a solid reputation, in particular thanks to its schist plot of the mythical Côte du Py...
