LEAVE YOUR REVIEWSuper Riesling from Kamptal, though still on the young side and not fully dry. This will doubtless age gracefully and develop more and more complexity. The wine is well structured, with that signature Austrian electric acidity that gives it precision and an Alpine freshness.
Great Riesling from Austria. Apricot, peach, wet stone, citrus and hints of honey and petrol. High acidity, medium body with high flavor intensity and long mineral finish.
Amazing quality per price. Perfect with seafood!
The Weingut Birgit Eichinger was founded in 1992 and now comprises 15 hectares of the best vines of Kamptal in Austria. The vinification is precise and modern, seeking purity and freshness through the almost exclusive use of stainless steel vats for fermentation and ageing. Recognized by her peers, Birgit is a member of a renowned group of women winegrowers in Austria, a close network designed to support each other in this traditionally male-dominated sector. The wines are very elegant and pure. Eichinger's Grüner Veltliners, which originate from volcanic soils, are exceptionally saline and rich in texture. More than half of the total production is exported and has enabled Birgit Eichinger to win numerous international awards. In her home country of Austria, Eichinger wines are equally popular.
