CORNAS - LES GRANDES TERRASSES 2014 - MAISON PAUL JABOULET AINE

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Rhone / Cornas AOC / 13 % vol / 100% Syrah

This ready-to-drink Cornas is a favourite, as mature and structured as could be wished!
A wonder for lovers of Cornas! This Grandes Terrasses boasts a deep ruby colour and delivers classic Cornas notes of black olive and fleshy black fruit. Despite masculine and wild aromas and flavours, it is surprisingly elegant on the palate, with fine tannins and a great finish. It is a very beautiful wine.

PAUL JABOULET AINE

Created in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, this house was then taken over by his sons: Paul and Henri Jaboulet. In 2006, the Frey family, from along ancestry of champagne winegrowers and also the owner of the famous Château la Lagune, bought the Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné with the ambition to reconnect the once successful house of the 1990s with connoisseurs worldwide. Caroline Frey, oenologist, ensured the successful recovery of property, and helped marry talent and new production techniques with a respect for ancient methods and wisdom. Traditional vineyard work and respect for the environment which produces our wine by leaning on sustainable agriculture consolidates this Maison as a producer of wines marked with a true identity and has thus allowed the continuity of this of this iconic Rhône Valley house
