LEAVE YOUR REVIEWAlthough I have been a fan of southern Rhone wines for many years, I had never tried a wine from this appellation before. I was immediately captivated by it and look forward to trying more from the region.
Drunk at dinner at home with my friends. Very soft, very pleasant in the mouth. Average length though. Pleasant to drink. Very satisfactory value for money.
Just perfect. Given the vintage, this is a very good a d balanced wine. It accompaned very good my tomahawk beef. After 1 hour the wine opened a d become very fruity. Congrats!
I am very pleasantly surprised: the color is luminous, the aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant very present, and in the mouth it is concentrated with tannins which are already silky. My guests were amazed.
A woody and pleasant wine. A successful approach with a nice and promising nose. Beautiful depth under the palate, charming colour.
For me, Lirac is for red what Tavel is for rosé, namely a very high quality wine, very well developed, perfectly balanced. To taste with friends on all types of Provençal dishes.
Romain Duvernay is a talented oenologist associated with newRhône Millésimes, recognised by his peers as one of the finest palates in the region. After honing his skills in Bordeaux, Languedoc, Burgundy and a national restaurant distributor, he quickly fell in love with all the resources of the Rhône Valley and moved there in the early 1900s. Knowing all the subtleties of the grape varieties and terroirs, Romain Duvernay gave birth in 2010 to the brand that bears his name, and has been making wines with talent from both the northern and southern appellations of the valley. Aware of the development potential of a region as rich as the Rhône Valley, Jean-Marc Pottiez decided in early 2016 to create the newRhône Millésimes house, by associating himself with Romain and his Signature brand. It is with a degree of exigency each year sharper that this duo intends to continue the development of this house by working with the greatest rigour each of the grape varieties that make up the charm of the Rhône Valley.
