LEAVE YOUR REVIEWA bit disappointing if anything. It's mostly the acidity that shows and only then the fruits and a blend of forest floor and game start to show up. Not a bad wine by any mean but Bot worthy of a grand cru.
Remarkable in everything. In the complexity of red and balsamic fruits, spices, meat and smoked fruits... in all the precision it shows... In short, it is a Grand Cru of Burgundy at the ideal moment of consumption. What more can one say? I never thought I would find it so affordable again!
Very good wine, a name of Burgundy which does not deceive! its typical taste is very appreciable, round and light at the same time! very pleasant to drink at the good temperature!
A sure thing in Corton and the mastery of a great Burgundian house, generation after generation, this vintage is ready for tasting!
A great wine at maturity and still at an acceptable price. Still fresh, with red fruits and a hint of leather and undergrowth that is beginning to be felt. No great wine without a great dish: to be enjoyed with a hare à la royale.
A Grand Cru at a very good price! I recommend it for lovers of Pinot Noir and Burgundy wines, you will not be disappointed. Open it a few hours before to release the full potential of the wine.
Intense ruby. Cherry, sweet spices and a hint of underbrush. Silky and refined tannins. An elegant and very drinkable and balanced wine. It went very well with game, but I have to say that although I found the wine to be of a high standard I would have expected more for the money.
I'm going to repeat myself, beautiful wine, sensual, a perfume of desire, that of the earth after the rain. How lucky we are to know that Burgundy is within our reach. An inimitable brand, this Pinot Noir always renewed.
A Burgundy wine, powerful in character. On the nose, woody and red fruit notes. On the palate, a full-bodied, elegant wine, I highly recommend it.
I really like Louis Latour's Cortons, which I generally buy for the festive season to accompany stuffed white meats.
Wine steeped 2 hours before tasting. A nose of great finesse. Light and complex at the same time, blending cherry and blackcurrant on the palate with a hint of oak. A magnificent wine.
On the nose, cherry aromas come to the fore, while hints of liquorice gradually emerge. On the palate, this wine is round and reveals more gourmet notes, accompanied by aromas of undergrowth and cherry. Ideal with beef bourguignon or game such as wild boar.
Delicious! Smoothness made pinot noir, compliments of Louis Latour. An evening of pinot tastings, for age and body it was one of the stars. Soft and delicate, crisply fruity
Powerful and long on the palate, this is a very good pinot noir with mellow tannins for a 201; it still has what it takes to hold up for a few more years.
It is always a great thrill to open a Pinot Noir Grand cru, and each time one is amazed by their power and body. Despite more than 10 years in the bottle, this Corton still has incredible freshness and therefore many years ahead. The price offered by Vinatis is excellent!
We all know Latour, synonymous with elegance and quality. This Corton is very full and structured, with notes of spices and jam on the nose. To be paired with game dishes or as a meditation wine.
An independent family run business, the Maison Louis Latour is among the most respected wine merchants of Bourgogne. Known worldwide for the quality of its red and white wines, the company has built a reputation of tradition and innovation. Considered one of the most traditional merchant-farmers, Louis Latour produces some of the best wines in Burgundy, and has also led the way in the production of fine wines from other regions (Ardèche). The Latours have been winemakers since the 17th century, and are now owners of a 50-hectare estate; which includes the largest area of grand crus in the Côte d'Or with a total of 28 hectares. The vineyards extend from Chambertin - in the north - to Chevalier Montrachet - in the south.
