LEAVE YOUR REVIEWArgentina doesn't only make Malbec and this is an excellent example of that. Bonarda of great concentration with a bouquet of herbs and spices. Juicy and smooth on the palate, with extraordinarily refined tannins.
I had never drunk Bonarda before. Nice experience. Lots of aromas, body, and a beautiful dark colour. Superb on a barbecue rib of beef. But the price is still a bit high.
Spectacular nose of Mediterranean herbs, spices and wild berries. On the palate, the tannins are incredibly refined for this grape variety and the wine is very lively and fresh. For me, simply the best Argentinian Bonarda!
Run by Sebastian Zuccardi, the family's third generation winemaker, this large Argentine estate produces wines from grapes grown in the Uco Valley. Sébastien Zuccardi is determined to explore Argentina's many micro-climates and soils. Today he is crafting some of the most exciting wines this country has to offer, with a renewed emphasis on terroir and balance. Zuccardi wines express the very essence of the terroir, the altitude vineyards and the extreme conditions in which they are planted, each range representing a concept, a belief, a tribute.
