I couldn't wait to taste the 4Kilos wines. It's done and it's delicious. It's concentrated, spicy, the tannins supple and well blended. I decanted the wine a good hour and a half beforehand, a delight.more reviews

"A Mediterranean and floral wine that produces only 2000 bottles (...) the best vintage of the cuvée” R. Parker
Impressive minerality, Indiot offers a gourmet fruitiness, of great elegance, which makes it accessible and easy to pair the right away. The ensemble is indeed savoury, delicate, charming, with very silky tannins, a marvellous integration of the maturing carried out in vats, barrels and tuns. A very beautiful red that fans of unusual wines will love! Some bottles are only available for distribution in France

Elegance and finesse define this wine, which on the nose expresses aromas of morello cherry and pleasant notes of garrigue and sweet spices. Its mineral side gives it a very seductive airy character. Great with tapas.

A full and fresh profile on a juicy fruit, this full-flavoured vintage unfolds a pure and concentrated juice where harmony and coherence of aromatic nuances reign. One quickly falls under the spell...

4KILOS VINÍCOLA

The Bodega 4 Kilos Vinícola was born in 2006 at the instigation of Francesc Grimalt and Sergio Caballero who collected in a garage the sum of 4 million pesetas (4 kilos), the equivalent of 24,000 euros. The project to start with a milk tank and a few old barrels, but above all with an exceptional grape. This is how, with great conviction, an approach respectful of the environment, little money and little technical means, they try to prove that it is possible to produce great wines! Through their different cuvées, mainly composed of the indigenous Callet grape variety, they cultivate and harvest the vines in different areas of the island, over a total area of 7 ha. Their wines are certified organic and the vinification is done as naturally as possible additives or other addition of chemistry. The terroir, mainly composed of clayey loam soil, is very rich in ferric oxide. The vines are made up of both plots of about forty years old and other plots planted more recently in 2006 and 2007. The cultivated grape varieties are mainly indigenous such as Fogoneu, Callet and Manto Negro, but are also associated with international grape varieties such as Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot. After manual harvesting and drastic sorting of the grapes, fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats or oak barrels depending on the vintage. The ageing, carried out in French oak barrels, varies, depending on the vintage, from 6 to 18 months in old containers to avoid marking the wines too much. Today these vintages are sought after all over the world for their typicity and their rarity.
