LEAVE YOUR REVIEWThis little white wine is a treat for the palate, my companion did not want to serve it (being in Burgundy) with a kyr, finding it too good to make a mixture
A very successful dry Côte de Gascogne that is unbeatable in terms of price. It's close to the house No. 6, with a bit more bitterness and a bit less complexity, but at this price it's still absolutely unbeatable as a holiday companion.
Very pleasant wine, I recommend it. We tasted it as an aperitif for an evening with friends.
It was appreciated by all.
The format allows it to be kept in a cool place without cluttering up the fridge.
I recommend this wine, very pleasant. I served it as an aperitif during an evening with friends and the guests were delighted. The 3l Bib packaging allows for good conservation and is very practical.
Yes, what can I say, get the chairs out, set the table, get some friends over, put something delicious on the table, get the BIB Haut Marin ready, and the beautiful summer evening can take its well-deserved course. For me, this cuvée is one of the best ever.
In white wines from Gascony, the fruit often appears very broad, expansive and strongly perfumed, also due to the grape variety. Fortunately, this is not the case here, the aroma remains pleasant. Unfortunately, the very superficial acidity seems artificial.
The exotic fruitiness of Colombard rounded out by 50% Ugni. Very fruity nose, exotic, peach. Lively palate, exotic fruit, good acidity. Fresh, lively, fruity. Good RQP.
This is a very fragrant, fruity white. It can be drunk at any time during a meal. It goes wonderfully with fish, but also as an aperitif. I loved it!
In the heart of Bas Armagnac, the Domaine de Ménard & Haut Marin is located along the famous Via Podensis, a route taken for centuries by pilgrims going to Santiago de Compostela. In this beautiful landscape characteristic of Gascony, they farm 180 hectares, exclusively in the Côtes de Gascogne appellation. The parcels are located on a renowned marine geological site. The whole region was swallowed up by the sea 23 million years ago. There are still many fossils and shells at the foot of the Gondrin vines. On shallow and stony clay-limestone soils, the vines of Colombard, Ugni Blanc, and Sauvignon produce dry white wines. On the deep tawny sands of the estate, the Petit and Gros Manseng grapes, harvested overripe, allow the production of sweet wines of exceptional finesse.
