GENERAL DE LA REVOLUTION 2017 - DOMAINE ABBATUCCI

0,75 L White Wine / France / Vin de France / 14 % vol

Demeter (biodynamic label) EU organic farming
A great very original wine, with beautiful energy, fresh and balanced!
Made from a “diabolical” blend of 6 native grape varieties, as rare as the are aromatically powerful, this Général wine reveals a complexity and a rare charm. Finely coated in white fruits with a superlative length, this wine is now one of the highlights of what Corsica can produce as great whites! With a dizzying depth, it goes perfectly with fish like mullet with rosemary cream!

DOMAINE ABBATUCCI

Located in southern Corsica, in the heart of the Taravo valley and at an altitude of around 100 meters, the estate is one of the oldest vineyards on the island, made up mainly of emblematic grape varieties such as Vermentino, Sciacarello or even Nielluccio, it houses a unique collection of eighteen varieties of indigenous grape varieties which today constitute a real treasure in the wine heritage of the island. The harvests are only manual and during the vinification, only indigenous yeasts are used. A technical follow-up is carried out in biodynamics as well as by a consultant oenologist. A flock of sheep (followed by homeopathy) graze in the vines during winter.
