Obvious notes of citrus, granny smith and this gives a lot of freshness in the mouth. This wine has an exceptional length in the mouth and the mineral side arrives on the finish. Very nice discovery and very good value for money.more reviews

Really good Premier Cru from Côte Chalonnaise. Yellow apple, unripe peach, butter, citrus and mineral notes. Refreshing acidity, medium body, long finish. Still bit young. Great value for money Burgundy.

The palate is dry, but creamy and preserves smooth and elegant flow, yet shows mineral-driven and briny profiles. A rich notion of pear and apricot notes add thickness, density and balance.

A rising value in the Burgundy appellations with a very good price-quality ratio. As always very well worked by the Albert Bichot estate.

Excellent. A very good estate. A subtle wine with a great length on the palate. Can be kept for several years even if it is a white wine. We enjoyed it with a veal blanquette. I recommend.

Its nose mixes fruity, floral and mineral notes. This Montagny is rich on the palate, all in length and power. I recommend leaving it to age because, after ageing for five years, secondary aromas such as hazelnut and almond will begin to express themselves.

A ready-to-drink Montagny 1er Cru showing freshness now but will, for sure, still reveal magnificent things in the years to come! I am won over!

MAISON ALBERT BICHOT

The "Maison Albert Bichot" was founded in 1831 by Bernard Bichot and it was his grandson, Albert, who gave it a new awakening at the end of the 19th century. Since 1996, the management of the Maison has been ensured by the sixth generation in the person of Albéric Bichot. The house has 100 hectares of vines which are exploited in a sustainable way, supplemented by purchases of grapes and musts. The estate has completely transformed its approach to growing vines, by pruning shorter, working the soil (plowing) and green harvesting when necessary, leaving only 6 bunches per vine. The house has an impressive range of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus. Those from the Côte de Nuits are vinified and aged at the Clos Frantin estate. Those of the Côte de Beaune are at the Domaine du Pavillon.
