Medium intensity nose of cassis, black pepper, leather, black cherry and smoke Balanced acidity, medium+ body with silky tannins, medium flavor and pleasant aftertaste.
Well balanced. I definitely recommend decanting.

As lively as you could wish, La Bette graces any table with amazing ease!
Everything about this wine is reminiscent of this lovely Southern region: the generosity of its ubiquitous, juicy dark fruits, the feisty character that comes through in its lightly spicy notes and its immediacy, which recalls pleasure in the good things in life. Even the label is a homage to Languedoc: 'bette' is the name for the typical fishing boats of Côtes Catalanes. If you love Roussillon, then this is for you!

Excellent value. Pleasure, fruit, balance. A good wine and for me the best Jeff Carrel. To take again and again and always to have in your cellar.

A must in our cellar. Fans of Languedoc wines, we appreciate the wines of Jeff Carrel. It is excellent and goes very well with meat dishes or appetizers. We highly recommend this reference which is unanimous every time.

Another red wine perfectly mastered by Jeff Carrel. For the price, this bottle is a great deal! I do not get enough!

"Eclectic winemaker", this is how Jeff Carrel defines himself. This oenologist, who can turn his hand to anything spreads his adivices in the vineyards, as well as in the winery or marketing strategy. In 2007 he sets up his own consulting firm in identity communication to assist wineries to enhance their specific features and productions. He then builds a very specific wine range with strong personality.
