"Exceptional balance and a lingering finish (...) This is a sensational Saint Joseph! " Jeb Dunnuck
Superb work from the Ferraton maison! Very precise, a soft start dominated by black fruits (blackcurrants, black raspberries, etc.), the structure is subtle continuing on to a finish rich in spices that continue on! "The quality of this domaine continues to increase, and this is probably the most beautiful range of wines I have ever tasted..." Robert Parker. A deal not to be missed!

We tasted this St Joseph as an aperitif with great pleasure. It stands on its own as it is very round. The tannins are very supple. "It is full in the mouth. A real explosion of ripe black fruit. I highly recommend it!

A very good Saint-Joseph with a deep garnet colour. It is quite thick and develops great aromatic complexity. Full-bodied with silky tannins. On the finish, it develops a very long aromatic persistence, the sign of a great wine!

Already very good and concentrated, with a very nice balance between fruit, spice, nose and density which ensures a very good future and good moments if one is patient. A fine and very pleasant Saint-Joseph... TOP

FERRATON PERE ET FILS

The history of the Ferraton estate has grown from generation to generation. It all began in 1946 with Jean Orëns Ferraton, himself the son of a winegrower. He created the estate and bequeathed it to his son Michel, who continued his father's work with the same passion. In 1998, under the guidance and with the help of Michel Chapoutier, a winemaker also retained by Bernard Burtschy, the Ferraton estate embarked on the adventure of organic farming and then that of biodynamics. The general idea is to respect the living in all its forms and to promote harmony between terrestrial and cosmic forces Today, the vineyard extends over the Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph appellations but the purchases of grapes are also made in many appellations, Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Cornas, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes-du-Rhône, Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Plan-de-Dieu and Tavel. The company's parcel selections deserve a special mention: confidential cuvées of great quality, precision and generosity, witnesses of a truly unique territory.
