CHATEAU PRIEURE-LICHINE 2016 - 4EME CRU CLASSE

Red Wine / France / Bordeaux / Margaux AOC / 13,5 % vol

'A well-made, supple-textured, delicious [year], it is an undeniable success for the vintage.' - RobertParker -
Thanks to the valuable advice of Stéphane Derenoncourt, the wines express a personality that is highly representative of the style of the terroir. Progressing in delicacy, precision and harmony, the produce of Château Prieuré-Lichine has easily managed to equal the greatest wines of the southern Médoc, particularly in this lovely vintage. Smooth and distinguished, this is a wine of great style and long laying-down potential, and an undeniable success that is one of the gems of the vintage... A marvel that the less patient among us can try right away!

CHÂTEAU PRIEURE-LICHINE

The Prieuré-Lichine vineyard is located not far from Château Margaux. Its terroir comprises a gravelly soil and a high proportion of Merlot grapes. The wines have a dark purple hue and develop aromas of blackcurrant and raspberry. They are smooth and keep for many years. A Bordeaux to try as soon as you can!
